Our objective is to emphasise the role of the small and medium sized abattoir in serving local livestock farmers and meeting the whole range of consumer needs, including butchers and companies distributing meat and meat products over a much larger geographic area. Our members deal with around half of the nation's animals including traditional, ethnic and other specialist market requirements We provide our members with a collective voice so they can be properly and effectively represented to the UK Government and others so their businesses may thrive in the 21st century. |
